Trump announced the massive spending budget during a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House on Monday. “We are very cost-conscious, but the military is something that we have to build, and we have to be strong because you have a lot of bad forces out there now,” Trump said. “Nobody’s seen anything like it.” Read full article >

By Callum Jones |  Unilad

Last month, the 47th POTUS signed an order entitled: ‘Preserving and Protecting the Integrity of American Elections’.

“Despite pioneering self-government, the United States now fails to enforce basic and necessary election protections employed by modern, developed nations, as well as those still developing,” the legislation states.

And now a new bill codifying how exactly this will work is making its way through Congress. Read full article >

The scheme was originally called the “homicide prediction project”, but its name has been changed to “sharing data to improve risk assessment”. The Ministry of Justice hopes the project will help boost public safety but campaigners have called it “chilling and dystopian”.
