By Dan Frieth | Reclaim The Net

Ignoring rising privacy concerns, the US House of Representatives gave the green light on Friday to a bill renewing the warrantless surveillance program under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA), Section 702, for the next two years. However, the vote witnessed the piecing together of conservative resistance that had stalled a prior chance at its approval. A shorter renewal period, as opposed to an initially proposed five-year term, was agreed upon in an attempt to win over Republican dissenters, culminating in a 273-147 vote in favor of the bill. The bills would provide around $60.8 billion for Ukraine, $26.4 billion for Israel, and $8.1 billion for Ukraine. Meanwhile, following Republican outcry – Johnson included a fifth bill which would revive the Secure Border Act – so US border security is essentially an afterthought. Read full article >

#5 – Bank of America Accused of Political Debanking

By Didi Rankovich | Reclaim The Net

Bank of America is facing serious accusations of involvement in discrimination based on politics, religion, and ideology (i.e., speech expressing this), with the targets of “debanking” allegedly being some Christian churches as well as supporters of Donald Trump.

These suspicions are expressed by over a dozen attorney-generals from Republican states who are behind a letter sent to Bank of America CEO Brian Moynihan, looking for answers – and documents – related to the accusations.

The initiative follows revelations that Bank of America was turning over financial data belonging to clients to the FBI and the Treasury, as they investigated January 6 suspects. Read full article >

Safety issues are on the rise at airlines in the United States, which are increasingly seeing their airplanes fall apart in the skies without warning or apparent cause.

Many of the reported problems started with Southwest Airlines and United Airlines but have since expanded to include American Airlines, a pilot group from which says it is seeing a “significant spike” in both safety- and maintenance-related problems at the carrier.

The Allied Pilots Association (APA) reported “problematic trends” in an April 13 memo to the airline, including instances of hammers and other tools being left in airplane wheel wells, as well as an increasing number of collisions between aircraft while they are being towed across the runways. #2 – The Left’s Plan to Sabotage Talk Radio and Local News

By Gateway Pundit

For its nearly universal control over the news-industrial complex, the left has failed to penetrate the one and only media format dominated by conservatives: talk radio.

Despite repeated liberal incursions into the medium, from Mario Cuomo to Tom Daschle to Air America, the left cannot make a showing. Now, it has launched a series of deceptive websites and bought up talk radio outlets — apparently in hopes that, where persuasion failed, cold hard cash may prevail.

Enter George Soros — and his bank account. Read full article >

By Jon Brown | Christian Post

Bill Maher

HBO host Bill Maher prompted silence from his audience on Friday’s episode of “Real Time” when he acknowledged that abortion is murder while suggesting he’s “OK” with it because there are enough people on the planet.

Speaking during a panel discussion with British journalists Piers Morgan and Gillian Tett, Maher conceded the consistency of the “absolutist” argument that abortion is always wrong, and that attempts to draw the line at various stages of gestation make little sense. Read full article >
