In its statement dated 7 March 2024, the Governing Council of the European Central Bank (ECB) emphasized the importance of expediting the Savings and Investments Union initiative. This project, as articulated by European Commission President Ursula Von der Leyen, employs nuanced language and financial terminology whilst presenting the project as an investment opportunity, to obscure a strategy aimed at leveraging the savings of EU citizens to enhance the defense sector within the European Union. During the press remarks by the European Commission on the first 100 days of the 2024-2029 Commission, EC President Ursula Von der Leyen highlighted the Savings and Investments Union project in the context of mobilizing private capital for defense as part of the ReArm Europe Plan, stating:

‘Only an effective, deep and liquid capital market can turn savings into much-needed investments. Progress here is no longer a ‘nice-to-have.’ It is a ‘must-have.’ In today’s world, maintaining Europe as an economic powerhouse is also a matter of collective security’

#1 – America’s Reliance on Technology will Soon Crash the World Economy as AI’s Failures and Limitations Increase

I have been reporting on the upcoming collapse of the U.S. financial system due to the Artificial Intelligence (AI) bubble that started at the end of 2022, for a while now. “AI”, of course, has been around for over 75 years with $billions wasted in investing in science fiction. See:

The 75-Year History of Failures with “Artificial Intelligence” and $BILLIONS Lost Investing in Science Fiction for the Real World

But when we read about “AI” today, it is mostly about only one form of AI, the Large Language Models (LLMs) that produced ChatGPT and other such applications that were released at the end of 2022.

And while some of Silicon Valley’s largest banks did collapse in the first quarter of 2023, the entire U.S. economy has not, yet. Read full article >

#5 – RFK Jr.’s Food Regulations Will Benefit Big Food and the Swamp

By David Hogberg |  The American Spectator

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has started the process of adding more regulation to U.S. food markets. Undoubtedly, Kennedy believed this would bring to heel what has been dubbed “Big Food,” the large food conglomerates that control much of U.S. food production. But more regulations will only benefit Big Food, while the rest of America will lose.

Late last week, Kennedy directed the Food and Drug Administration to eliminate the current Generally Recognized as Safe (GRAS) practice that allows food producers to use additives without the approval of the FDA. Going forward, food producers can only use new food additives if they first notify the FDA and provide safety data. This is likely the first of many new regulations to come in Kennedy’s crusade. Read full article >
