By Jacob M. Thompson | WinePress News

Yesterday the Federal Reserve elected to hold interest rates steady at 4.0% once more in a meeting that objectively got less mainstream attention than usual (in my opinion). However, the Fed revealed that they foresee no progress on inflation (higher for longer) and rising unemployment.

The Fed said in a statement:

The Committee will continue reducing its holdings of Treasury securities and agency debt and agency mortgage‑backed securities. The Committee is strongly committed to supporting maximum employment and returning inflation to its 2 percent objective… Read full article >

A new rule issued last year by the U.S. Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) takes effect today that allows the Secretary of “any federal department” to indefinitely waive oversight requirements for high-risk experiments involving the most deadly pathogens known to man.

That means no safety checks and no independent review for government-led gain-of-function (GOF) experiments, despite the risky practice causing the COVID-19 pandemic that killed millions of Americans. Read full article >

#3 – US, Iran To Hold 4th Round Of Talks As Trump Calls For “Total Dismantlement” Of Nuclear Program

Source: Bulletin of Atomic Scientists

Bloomberg and other sources have cited Iran’s Nournews to report the resumption of Iran-US nuclear talks set for Sunday (May 11), according to an unnamed officials.

This will be the fourth round of talks, scheduled to take place in Oman’s capital Muscat, amid fears that nuclear dialogue between Iran and the Trump administration was stalling.

The timing and location are interesting, given that Oman is in southern Arabia, and not too far away there is a war on in the Red Sea region, and Israel has ramped up airstrikes on Yemen, targeting Houthi leadership and infrastructure… Read full article >

A sweeping pro-Israel bill backed by Republican leadership and AIPAC collapsed this week after a rare revolt by right-wing lawmakers who argued it posed a direct threat to Americans’ First Amendment rights.

The bill, H.R. 867 — known as the IGO Anti-Boycott Act — would have imposed up to $1 million in fines and prison terms of up to 20 years on Americans who support international boycotts of Israel, even those led by the United Nations. Read full article >

American cardinal Robert Prevost – a fierce opponent of same-sex marriage and gender studies in classrooms, yet past Trump & Vance critic – has been selected as the new pope, and will be named Leone XIV, ending a two-day conclave in Rome.

The voting cardinals have made their way out to the balconies of St. Peter’s Bascilica waiting for the new pope, as chants of “Leone, Leone, Leone” could be heard from the crowd. Read full article >

Last week I warned that tensions were brewing between nuclear powers India and Pakistan over an alleged terrorist attack carried out by Islamabad in the disputed territory of Kashmir, with both sides threatening to escalate the conflict into a full-blown war.

India has now begun what is being viewed as one of the most extensive attacks against its neighbor in decades, in what they are calling “Operation Sindoor,” launching strikes on Pakistan late last night around 1:00 AM. India claims these “precision strikes” were carried out on “terrorist infrastructure.” Read full article >

The Canadian government has begun ramping up testing for a chilling new Covid mRNA “AeroVax” that seeks to overcome “vaccine hesitancy” by using aerosols to “vaccinate” the general public.

Unlike traditional “vaccines” that are deployed using injections, the new AeroVax is an atomized spray that is inhaled.

The new “vaccines” are sprayed in aerosol form and breathed in by recipients.

The AeroVax was developed by researchers at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation-funded McMaster University in Canada. Read full article >

#4 – Trump’s Surgeon General Pick Dodges Vaccine Debate as Health Freedom Movement Demands Answers

By Lance D. Johnson | Natural News

In a political landscape where health freedom activists have fought for decades to expose Big Pharma corruption, the sudden rise of Casey and Calley Means has raised alarm. Casey Means, a former surgeon turned metabolic health entrepreneur, is now being considered for surgeon general under Trump — yet she refuses to address the elephant in the room: the catastrophic health damage caused by vaccines, particularly COVID-19 mRNA injections.

While the siblings preach about “metabolic dysfunction” and food toxins, critics argue their message is a deliberate diversion from the real crisis: vaccine-induced injuries, autoimmune disorders and sudden deaths plaguing millions since 2020. Read full article >

Congo-Kinshasa (MNN) — Clashes continue between the army and M23 rebels in the Democratic Republic of the Congo despite both sides calling for a ceasefire.

On Sunday, M23 forces captured a fishing town on the west coast of Lake Edward in the eastern DRC. Rebels have stepped up their offensive since December, capturing key towns and uprooting 7.8 million people.

This summer, a landmark agreement brokered with US support aims to end years of conflict between the DRC and neighboring Rwanda. Kinshasa and others accuse Rwanda of supporting M23, a claim Kigali denies. Read full article >
