In part one we examined all the ways a global censorship industrial complex is marginalizing those who oppose the UN led climate agenda. We questioned why there is so much effort to silence a few skeptics and if there were other motives involved. Part two will address these questions.

Using Fear and Doom to Create a New World Order

Despite the fact that predictions of planetary doom over rising (and cooling) temperatures have failed to materialize in any tangible way for over 50 years, the propaganda continues. Regardless, the scientific community is doubling down on their predictions, hoping to instill enough dread to align the populace with their agenda. Here are just a few headlines exposing the modern fear porn campaign:

The claims made in each of these articles mimic the 13 facts mentioned previously from the UN’s Verified initiative. However, the majority can be debated, if not outright debunked. Consider a sampling of the other side of the argument in these few statements:

“The United Nation’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) has recently claimed that agriculture is a major producer of greenhouse gases and should be considered a climate “villain.” However, the calculations that formed the basis of these claims completely neglected the fact that crop plants scrub the atmosphere of carbon dioxide on a massive scale, and thus help lower greenhouse gasses. This flawed global warming research by the IPCC has now been exposed in a leading agricultural scientific journal.” (Source)

“Climate change really heats up the headlines. Alarmists clamor that human activity and man-made pollutants are catastrophically disrupting Earth’s weather patterns. But is it all just a bunch of hot air? Well…mostly. True, over the last century Earth has gradually gotten warmer. But around 400 years ago it cooled with the Little Ice Age, and around 1,000 years ago it heated into the Medieval Warm Period. Climate change appears to reflect the natural ebb and flow of Earth’s temperatures.” (Source)

“…Moreover, the estimates in these empirical studies are being borne out by the much-discussed “pause” or “hiatus” in global warming—the period since 1998 during which global average surface temperatures have not significantly increased.” (Source)

The Real Goals of the Climate Agenda

“In searching for a new enemy to unite us, we came up with the idea that pollution, the threat of global warming, water shortages, famine and the like would fit the bill…All these dangers are caused by human intervention, and it is only through changed attitudes and behavior that they can be overcome. The real enemy then is humanity itself.” The First Global Revolution, Club of Rome

Today’s climate change scheme is born from Agenda 21 and its Agenda 2030 companion, but owes its inception to organizations like the Club of Rome, individuals like Maurice Strong and Paul Ehrlich, and books like The Limits to Growth. Its true aims are to replace God with a blend of pseudoscience and scientism, depopulate the planet, and forge a global government under the rule of experts and elitists. Its roots are racist and anti-human. It features elements of communism, socialism, and fascism, but could be more accurately described as a global technocracy. Proponents promise we will reach a state of utopia once it is fully in place. A look at the lofty SDG goals confirms this. However, what they convey at face value is not what they really represent.

The original environmental movement was co-opted at the 1992 United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (the Rio “Earth Summit”). This was chronicled in detail in a book called The Earth Brokers. Today’s climate crusade is not a grassroots, bottom-up movement. It’s a top-down initiative seeking to redistribute wealth upwards and privatize all biodiversity and natural resources. Its real goal is captured in the infamous phrase, “you will own nothing and be happy.”

Social Engineering and Behavior Modification Masquerading as Sustainable Development

The climate change narrative fancies human beings as the cause for detrimental changes to the earth’s environment. Therefore, drastic behavioral changes are required to thwart the path to destruction. This provides justification for proscribing what humans can eat, how often or far they can travel, how and if they can grow their own food, what they can purchase, etc. In the end, it is a grand social engineering project concocted to control every element of human life. If the climate agenda is not stopped what awaits humanity is a world where:

Are all these things really being put in place for the good of humanity? Or are they tantamount to a global control grid capable of delivering data covering every aspect of human life to technocratic overlords? Do they promote God-given, constitutional freedoms like life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Or do they empower technocrats to determine what these freedoms look like and who should have them?

Climate emergency progenitors talk incessantly about how greenhouse gas emissions are hurling the planet toward the 1.5-degree warming temperature resulting in planetary disaster, but do nothing to curtail their own jet-setting around the globe in private planes and gas-guzzling luxury vehicles for conferences to discuss the damage everyone else is doing to the environment. They tell us meat is bad for the planet while they feast on wagyu burgers. If CO2 is such a big deal then why are India and China, believed to account for 38.6% of global CO2 emissions, virtually exempt from the regulations being imposed in the West?

These examples of blatant hypocrisy don’t help their cause one iota, yet they would like to criminally prosecute those accused of climate denial.

Which is the greater crime? Questioning scientific claims that a global catastrophe looms in our near future? Or attempting to destroy millions if not billions of livelihoods by centralizing the wealth, resources, means of production and distribution of the entire planet? Is apocalyptic date setting and extreme fearmongering galvanizing humanity toward a greater good? Or a scheme to usurp even more power and wealth from the average person?

The issue is not really about whether the climate is changing. It is and always does, as climate is not static due to the earth’s rotation, solar activity, and many other factors. The real question is whose wisdom and advice should we follow to better care for our world? Should scientists who often labor with extreme bias to prove their suppositions be the authorities humans must bow to for survival? Or should we look to a higher authority and continue to have conversations about how to mitigate the crisis, if one truly exists?

Trust Issues and the Real Crisis

Is pollution of our air, water, and soil worthy of concern? Of course! But the response desired by UN and Agenda 21/2030 proponents is totally unwarranted and unscientific. They want complete trust when it comes to managing the planet, but their hypocrisy, censorship, and overreach do not warrant such devotion.

The real falsehood proliferating is the denial of God’s existence and sovereignty over creation! The climate change crazies never think to consult the God of heaven on how to steward the planet He created. Humanity’s current crop of self-appointed overlords refuse to acknowledge that our greatest threat is not disinformation and hate speech, but the stain of sin that permeates the human heart. It is unbelief, separation, and independence from God that leads to human crisis. Sin therefore is the existential crisis, not fears of planetary extinction.

Much of the panic around climate change results from denying that the earth (and the entire universe) has an intelligent designer. Ignoring the Biblical account of creation leaves humanity searching for answers that are already spelled out. Possessing a biblical worldview negates the fear of an existential crisis relying on forced global unity and fallible human intervention to curtail.

There is no doubt that the poor inordinately suffer when faced with the aftermath of deadly hurricanes, tornadoes, flooding, fires, and other disasters. However, this does not mean a technocratic system micromanaging every human action and severely restricting individual rights is the answer.

The sustainability empire embraces a system to change humanity on the outside through laws, behavior modification, psychological manipulation, and total surveillance. Even if their envisioned scheme starts off great, it will eventually descend into the worst totalitarian system ever created. What humanity really needs is change on the inside and the ability to discern truth from error. In this regard, no wiser words have been spoken on this topic than that of physicist Jake Hebert. His plea for discernment regarding climate change is a clarion call worth repeating:

“The Lord Jesus told us that we could test the fruits of a person or teacher: “For a good tree does not bear bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit. For every tree is known by its own fruit. For men do not gather figs from thorns, nor do they gather grapes from a bramble bush” (Luke 6:43–44, NKJV). This obviously can be applied to intellectual movements or ideologies, as well. There are many indications that climate change alarmism is bearing bad fruit. An article in Nature actually suggested that tens of millions of acres of fallow farmland should remain uncultivated in order to fight climate change. Given the number of hungry people in the world, it is shocking that some would seriously contemplate such action. So secular academics are now entertaining restrictions, not just on automobile fuel efficiency, energy consumption, etc., but on the amount of food that we produce! Likewise, one secular ‘intellectual’ has proposed modifying the human body in order to fight climate change. These examples of bad fruit are indicative of something fundamentally wrong with the ‘warmist’ movement…”

The climate cabal knows how to exploit love for humanity and creation and tap into the Christian psyche to manipulate believers into accepting the climate agenda. Ignorance of this nefarious scheme is detrimental! The climate agenda is fear based. The only thing a Christian should fear is God himself. The Bible repeatedly states that believers should not fear in numerous ways, including:

  • Fear not
  • Do not be afraid
  • Be anxious for nothing
  • Do not fear
  • Do not worry
  • Do not be dismayed

It is time to for Christ’s followers to take this to heart and become the leading voice dispelling the fears and myths perpetuated by those who deny His very existence.

God is Ultimately Responsible for His Creation

The above quote from the late Dave Foreman, co-founder of Earth First and founder of the ReWilding Institute, reveals the mindset and true intentions of many espousing the man-made climate change tale. We are seeing these plans in action. People of this ilk want the public’s trust and seek permission to act on humanity’s behalf to solve the so-called crisis. But the path to accomplish their goals will ultimately result in depopulation, total enslavement, and digital serfdom. Is this the path forward or is there a better way?

Ultimately, the job of restoring creation belongs to God. If it were to rely on humanly concocted plans using a blend of pseudoscience and mere conjecture, then the planet is indeed doomed! The climate change narrative was invented to create a global, New Age-inspired, technocratic government, not to save the planet.

Dave Foreman was one of the more radical proponents of the climate agenda; nevertheless, what he believed is still central to the current leaders and propaganda specialists of today.

The following graphic conveys the statement of principles of the Earth First organization Foreman founded in 1980. It resembles the 13 facts mentioned previously but adds a few extra statements that are still believed, but no longer said out loud.

The first Earth First memo written by founder Dave Foreman

Earth First’s statement of principles reveals a mindset totally at odds with a biblical worldview. It directly challenges the first chapter of Genesis regarding the creation of the universe and God’s purposes for doing so. The memo states that “humankind is no greater than any other form of life and has no legitimate claim to dominate Earth.” This completely contradicts what is plainly stated in Genesis 1:26-28, where:

…God said, “Let us make human beings in our image, to be like us. They will reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, the livestock, all the wild animals on the earth, and the small animals that scurry along the ground.” So God created human beings in his own image... (NLT)

Here the bible states humans are made in God’s image and will reign over the animal kingdom. This makes humans both greater than other life forms and provides a legitimate claim for our rule over them. The question is how we rule, not whether we have the right to.

Earth First makes the claim that the “wilderness has a right to exist for its own sake” when God stated the opposite, proclaiming:

“Look! I have given you every seed-bearing plant throughout the earth and all the fruit trees for your food. And I have given every green plant as food for all the wild animals, the birds in the sky, and the small animals that scurry along the ground—everything that has life.” And that is what happened. – Genesis 1:29-30 (NLT)

Foreman’s statement regarding overpopulation, anthropocentrism, industrialization, etc. contains truth mixed with falsehood. While human activities such as industrialization, resource extraction, imperialism, and pollution certainly can cause the destruction of nature, it does not negate the fact that God put humans in charge of the natural world and commanded that we both fill (populate) and subdue (govern) the earth, as stated in Genesis 1:28.

Whether Foreman and his clan agree or not, the earth and its vast natural resources were created for man, not the other way around as suggested by his statements that “all human decisions should consider Earth first, humankind second” and “the only true test of morality is whether an action, individual, social, or political, benefits earth.” Beliefs such as this explain why we are now living in Bizarro world!

The most troubling statement is reserved for last when Foreman proclaims that, “Earth is Goddess and the proper object of human worship.” The belief in mother earth or Gaia is a core tenet of new agers and climate change enthusiasts though you may not hear much about it. However, this belief runs against the core beliefs of Christianity. All throughout the Bible are warnings against idolatry and worshipping created things instead of the Creator. One of the strongest passages in all of scripture testifying of God’s role in creation and the consequence of willful ignorance is found in Romans 1, where it states:

“For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse. For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like a mortal human being and birds and animals and reptiles. Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised.” Amen. – Romans 1:20-25 (NLT)

The fourth chapter of the book of Job builds upon the creation account of Genesis to further solidify that God is in control of His creation. But these two verses in the book of Psalms offer a succinct but powerful statement on who the earth’s rightful authority is. King David declares:

The earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness,
The world and those who dwell therein.
For He has founded it upon the seas,
And established it upon the waters.
– Psalms 24:1-2

There are issues worth paying attention to regarding how humans govern God’s creation. But the climate change agenda is not the answer. Instead, it will create more suffering than it is attempting to alleviate. Despite the utopian PR campaign encompassing the SDGs, the ideals express hatred for God, devalue humanity, and its adherents are willing to sacrifice as many people as necessary to achieve balance with nature and please Gaia.

One day, the Kingdom of God will arrive on earth in its fullness. The Lord’s way leads to the complete restoration of all creation. He promises love, joy, peace, and liberty. It is to this end that followers of Jesus Christ, the world’s true King, must align themselves. The way of man leads to the complete destruction of all creation. It promises strife, subjugation, hostility, and dependence. God wants to fill the earth with beauty, abundance, and people. Man wants to restrict access to earth’s beauty, abundance, and eliminate most of the people.

God will not be mocked! What will restore creation to its former glory and beyond is his people exalting him throughout the nations and testifying of his kingdom rule. It’s time to be bold, stand for the truth, and be unafraid of the fearmongering and threats of the censorship industrial complex.
